THE MANITOBA SECURITIES COMMISSION MSC RULE 2009-5 (Section 149.1, The Securities Act) Amendments to National Instrument 24-101 Institutional Trade Matching and Settlement 1. National Instrument 24-101 Institutional Trade Matching and Settlement is amended by this Instrument. 2. Section 1.1. is amended by adding the following after the definition of "matching service utility": "registered firm" means a person or company registered under securities legislation as a dealer or adviser. 3. The term "registrant" is struck out wherever it occurs and is replaced by "registered firm". 4. This Instrument comes into force on the day National Instrument 31-103 Registration Requirements and Exemptions comes into force. 5. This Instrument may be cited a MSC Rule 2009-5.
