Advisory Notice

Due to the similarity between the name of a respondent (Charles Edward "Ted" Griffith) named in a Notice of Hearing and Statement of Allegations issued March 15, 2004 ("Proceedings") and the name of an individual registered in the securities industry in Manitoba (Edward "Ed" Russell Griffith), the Commission is issuing this Advisory Notice.  The Proceedings pertain to the alleged conduct of Charles Edward "Ted" Griffith.  The Commission would like to advise that there is no relationship between the Proceedings and Edward "Ed" Russell Griffith of Scotia Capital Inc.   Anyone dealing with Edward "Ed" Russell Griffith should not be concerned by the Proceedings.
