Notice of Cancellation of Hearing
(A) The Director issued a Notice of Hearing and Statement of Allegations dated November 29, 2002 to consider:
1. Whether it is in the public interest to order, pursuant to subsection 11(1) The Real Estate Brokers Act, that the registration of ADELGUNDE ("Adele") DYCK as a salesman under the Act be suspended or cancelled.
2. Whether it is in the public interest that Dyck be ordered to pay the costs of the investigation and hearing.
3. Such further and other matters as counsel may advise and the Commission may permit.
(B) The hearing is scheduled to be conducted from September 22 to 26, 2003.
(C) DYCK voluntarily cancelled her registration under the Act, effective June 30, 2003.
(D) The registration of Star-7 Realty Inc. a broker under the Act which was owned by and employed DYCK, voluntarily cancelled its registration under the Act, effective June 30, 2003.
(E) DYCK is no longer registered in any capacity under the Act and does not own or have a beneficial interest in a broker registered under the Act.
(F) The Director is of the view that there is no public interest to be served by continuing the hearing under the Act and the Director is now withdrawing the Notice of Hearing and Statement of Allegations.
