THE MANITOBA SECURITIES COMMISSION NOTICE 2009-22 THE COMMODITY FUTURES ACT - RULE On July 17, 2009 The Manitoba Securities Commission, along with other members of the Canadian Securities Administrators, published a notice of repeal and replacement of National Instrument 33-109 – Registration Information and amendments to National Instrument 31-102 – National Registration Database. This publication included a CSA Notice as well as amendments to the National Instruments and Companion Policies which are to come into effect on September 28, 2009. The publication of the Rule Amendments and amendments to the Companion Policy in Manitoba inadvertently failed to include notification that the Instruments are also being enacted as Rules and Policies under The Commodity Futures Act effective September 28, 2009.
