THE COMMODITY FUTURES ACT – PUBLICATION FOR COMMENT
On December 5, 2013 The Manitoba Securities Commission, along with other members of the
Canadian Securities Administrators, published proposed amendments to National Instrument
33-109 – Registration Information and amendments to National Instrument 31-103 –
Registration Requirements, Exemptions and Ongoing Registrant Obligations. This publication
included a CSA Notice as well as amendments to the National Instruments and Companion
Policies which were published for comment. The Notice can be found at:

The publication of the Rule Amendments and amendments to the Companion Policy in
Manitoba inadvertently failed to include notification that the amendments to NI 33-109 –
Registration Information are also being published for comment under The Commodity Futures
Act. The comment period ends effective April 30, 2014.
