JOSE ANTONIO PEREIRA & MARIO MANUEL
WHEREAS:
(A) On June 22, 2001, The Manitoba Securities Commission (the "Commission") issued Order No. 2452 suspending the registration of Jose Antonio Pereira ("Pereira") and Mario Manuel Lopes ("Lopes") as salesmen under The Real Estate Brokers Act ("the Act") effective June 22, 2001 through to July 6, 2001;
(B) On July 4, 2001, the Commission issued a Notice of Hearing together with a Statement of Allegations of staff of the Commission, returnable on July 6, 2001;
(C) On July 6, 2001, the Commission received information from staff of the Commission and from counsel for each of Pereira and Lopes;
(D) The Commission is of the opinion that in view of the foregoing there is cause to make this order and it is in the public interest to do so.
IT IS ORDERED:
1. THAT, pursuant to subsection 11(1) of the Act, the suspension of Pereira’s registration as a salesman under the Act as pronounced in Order No. 2452 remain in effect from July 6, 2001 and continue through to July 11, 2001, both dates inclusive, at which time this matter is next returnable.
2. THAT, pursuant to subsection 11(1) of the Act, the suspension of Lopes’s registration as a salesman under the Act as pronounced in Order No. 2452 remain in effect from July 6, 2001 and continue through to July 11, 2001, both dates inclusive, at which time this matter is next returnable.
